Get Notified When a Client Returns to a Survey

Get an email when a client comes back to a shared survey after a quiet stretch.

A client re-opening a survey after a quiet stretch is one of the strongest signals they're getting serious. ScoutSpace now emails you when it happens, so you can follow up while the interest is fresh. This article covers when these emails send and what they include.

What it does

When someone views a survey you've shared after a period of inactivity — 7 days by default — ScoutSpace emails the brokers on that survey. Clients who signed in through an invitation are named in the email; visitors who open the share link without signing in appear as "someone."

When you'll get an email

  1. You share a survey with a client.

  2. No one views the shared survey for the inactivity window (7 days by default).

  3. A client or visitor opens it again — the brokers on the survey receive an email about the return visit.

Tips

  • Only real visits count — brief automatic page preloads don't trigger a notification.

  • Returning views also appear in your Activity Feed alongside comments, reactions, and other engagement.

  • A return visit after a week of silence is a great reason to pick up the phone — the email arrives while the client is looking.
