This glossary explains every field on the Space Field Names tab: the pricing, dates, lease terms and details recorded for the spaces and comps on your surveys.
These names appear as column headers and labels across your surveys, including the summary table and the spaces on each property.
The names below are the defaults. If your account or survey uses custom names, look up the field by its default name, which is shown on the left of each row on the Space Field Names tab.
Renaming a field changes only its label, not the data. To rename fields, see Customize Space Field Names.

Base Rate: The asking or achieved rent per square foot (or square meter), quoted per year or per month. It can be a range. On a space, this is the Rate field.

Yearly Cost: The total annual cost of the space: size × Gross Rate for a full year. It shows in place of Monthly Price when Show yearly cost is turned on in the survey's settings.
Gross Rate: The all-in rate per square foot: Base Rate + OPEX + Taxes + Electric Cost, with the Management Fee added on top when there is one.
