Manage Spaces on a Property

Add, edit, hide and delete the spaces on a property, and control how sizes, rates and monthly costs appear on a survey.

Every property on a survey has an Available Spaces section where you manage its suites and units. This article covers adding and editing a space, marking it for lease or for sale, entering ranges, hiding a space from one survey, and deleting a space for good.

Find a property's spaces

Open a property from the survey and scroll to Available Spaces.

Add or edit a space

  • Add a space: click Add Space.

  • Edit a space: click the space's name to open its window. It has three parts: Space Details, Price Details and Lease Details. Fill in Size, and Rate for a lease or Price for a sale.

Mark a space for lease or for sale

The Space status drop-down is For Lease or For Sale. It is set per space, not per survey. To show both a sale price and a lease rate for one property, add two spaces, one of each.

Enter ranges and rates

  • Ranges: click Add Range under Size, Rate and Monthly cost. The range then shows on the property card. If the space has a single rate, enter it as the high rate too, or the high monthly cost can't calculate.

  • Monthly or yearly rate: set Per month vs per year, then click the blue calculate button next to Monthly cost.

Hide a space from one survey

  1. Click Display & Sort.

  2. Untick the space. It moves to "Hidden from this survey".

  3. To bring it back, click Add To Survey.

You can also click Hide on a space card to hide that space from this survey.

Only spaces included on the survey appear in the client view, PDF reports and tour books.

Delete a space for good

Click the three dots on the space card and choose Delete everywhere. This removes the space from every survey and can't be undone. Deleting a row in the Spaces tab only removes the space from that survey.

Show a contiguous size

There is no contiguous setting. Add a space named Contiguous with the largest contiguous size, and the property card's size range will run from the smallest space to that figure.
