Promoted Listings are Listings that other brokerages have published with ScoutSpace. You can show them on your Property Database map and add any of them to your own database.
Show Promoted Listings
Open Property Database in Map view, on the Properties or Available Space tab.
Turn on Show Promoted Listings at the left of the search bar. It starts off.
Listings appear as gold pins marked L. Groups of nearby Listings show as gold circles with a count; zoom in to separate them. The switch stays on while you change filters, tabs or views, until you turn it off.
When a Listing has the same street address as one of your properties, the Listing pin takes that spot on the map. Your property is still in the list beside the map.
See a Listing's details
Click a gold pin to open its card. It shows the photo, property type, name and address, whether it's for lease or for sale, and how many spaces it has with their sizes. A lease rate shows when the listing broker published one; otherwise the card says Inquire.
Add a Listing to your database
Click the Listing's gold pin.
Click Add to my database.
The Listing is copied into your account as your own property, with its address, building details, photos and spaces (each space For Lease or For Sale). The button changes to Added, and the property shows up in your list, table and counts. From there you can edit it, label it, and add it to surveys like any other property.
The copy doesn't include owner information, unpublished changes, details the listing broker kept private, or management documents. It's yours from then on: later changes by the listing broker don't update it.
Good to know
Listings only appear on the map. They aren't table rows, aren't in your counts or exports, and can't be selected or added to a survey until you add them to your database.
The Comps tab doesn't show Listings.
Listings follow your search, map area, Property type, Submarket, City, Updated within and the Available Space filters for Availability, Size, Rate, Rate type and Available before. Filters that only apply to your own records, such as Property label, Survey, Added by, County, Lease type, OpEx, List / asking price and Created date, don't affect Listings.
The Listing card works best on a computer screen. On a phone, the map is narrow and the card is squeezed.
